D.El.Ed Course (Haryana Board School of Education)

The course prepares teachers with a broad knowledge of the subject areas and the latter includes principles for child development, education practice, the study of school pedagogy and the role of the teacher in the grooming of students. The prospects of a graduate in a D.El.Ed course is immense and exciting, not solely restricted to primary school teaching.

D.El.Ed Eligibility

Candidates who have completed their certification program in the stream of science must have 60% or above marks from a recognized board. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 are preferred as the main subjects of study. Candidates must score above 50% marks or equivalent at 10+2 level to secure a seat in D.El.Ed.

D.El.Ed. Course Admission

The admission process for this course in most of the colleges is based on entrance exam which is different for respective institutions. Candidates who will clear this entrance exam are further called for a round of personal interviews. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of 10+2 level are asked in the entrance exam.
Questions are asked in 3 sections in this exam. Separate cut off list for each section is issued. Those who cleared the cut off are selected for the course in various colleges.
